Dibrugarh University the easternmost University of India was set up in 1965 under the provisions of the Dibrugarh University Act. It is a teaching cum afflicting University with limited residential facilities. The University is situated at rajabheta at a distance of about five kilometers to the south of Dibrugarh.
The University has territorial jurisdiction over seven district of Upper Assam, Dibrugarh, Tinsukia, Sibgarh, Jorhat, Golaghat, Lakhimpur and Dhemaji which lie on the south and north banks of the river Brahmpurta.
The University through the various teaching Departments centres for studies in its campus and the afflicted college scattered over the seven district is imparting higher education in the various branches of learning in Arts, Commerce, Engineering, medical, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Law, Science & technology, Computer Science, management, Sports and Teacher Training. The University campus hosts 17 Teaching Departments, 18 Centers for studies and one institute of Engineering and technology (DUIET) organized five different schools of studies leading to the M.A, M.Sc, M.tech, M.Com, M.B.A, M.Pharm, M.Ed, M.L.I.Sc, MCA, Integrated M.Sc in Physics, B.Ed, B.Pharm, B.B.A, B.tech, 5 years B.A. LL.B Hons, B.C.A, B.P.Ed, B.L.I.Sc, M.Phil and Ph.D Degree. The programme of the examination on 16th & 17th July 2016. Examination scheduled is given below-
16th July 2016 - Saturday - 10.30 am to 12.30 p.m (Physics) & 2 pm to 4 pm (Chemistry)
17th July 2016 - Sunday - 10.30 am to 12.,30 pm (Biology)
Examination Centers :
Assam MEE Examination will be scheduled at- Silchar / Bongaigoan / Nalbari / Lakhimpur / Guwahati / Tezpur / Nagaon / Jorhat / Dibrugarh.
ASSAM MEE Medical Entrance Examination Admit Card 2016
Dibrugarh University organized MEE (Medical Entrance Examination-16) for Admission to the MBBS / BDS Course in the State of Assam. Applicant required to download their Admit Card 2016 on 8th July 2016.
The candidates will be able to download his / her admit card from the website mentioned above from 8th July 2016 onwards by entering his / her Application Form number generated during the Online submission of Application .
The issue of Admit Card enables the candidates to appear in the examination only and does not imply that the candidates satisfy all the requirements to be eligible for Admission to the Course for which the candidates has appeared in the Examination. - Enter Candidate Registration Number and date of Birth.
