Course Details :

Admission in Course of - B.Ed Total 100 Seats.

B.A (B.Ed) Course- 24 Seats

B.Sc (B.Ed) Course - 76 Seats (PCB- 38, PCM-38)

Eligibility Criteria :

Candidates with at least 50% marks in the Senior Secondary Examination

Course Fee :

The candidates have to pay Rs.25000/ per Semester for Education, Lodging and Boarding Charges and Rs.5000/ per Semester for Skilled Development and Activities Carges Rs.500 for Library Deposit.

Selection Process :

Selection of candidates will be strongly as on merit based. To finalize the merit the following method will be followed.

40% of the Merit will be calculated from total marks obtained in 12th Standard.

60% of Merit will be calculated from Pre Entry Test / PTPT.

Details of Pre Entry Test for Prospective Teachers (PTPT) 2016

Candidates of IITE B.Ed Programme selected through PTPT. The PTPT Exam is MCQ type Online Examination, Total 90 Minutes Time allowed in exam, There 100 Number of Question to be attempted. .5 Negative marking is allotted for each wrong answer. Syllabus of Examination is Class 12th Standard & based on

General Knowledge - 20 Marks, English and Communication- 20 marks, Reasoning & Numerical Ability- 20 marks, Information Communication Technology- 20 marks & Analogy 20 marks.
