Age Limit :
Candidates required age limit should be not more than 35 years for Fresher candidates as on 02.07.2016. No age limit for Deputed candidates.

Method Subjects :
Jadavpur University B.Ed Admission in course of - Bengali, English, Sanskrit, History, Mathematics, Physical Science, Work Education and Education.

Eligibility Criteria :
Candidates must have secured Minimum 50% Aggregate Marks (General Candidates both Freshers & Deputed) in Honours Graduate / Master Degree / Special Honours.
Candidates must have secured Minimum 40% aggregate marks (SC / ST Freshers) / 45% marks (PD for Freshers) in Honours Graduate / Master Degree / Special Honours.
Candidates must have secured 40% aggregate marks(For SC / ST / PD Deputed candidates) in Honours Grdaute / Special Honours / Master Degree.

Only those Teachers who are teaching in Class IX to Class XII are eligible under Deputed category.
All applicants must have complete Results at Bachelor (Honours) Degree level and also passed in all papers. Current students who have appeared in MA / M.Sc 4th Semester examination 2016 securing 40% marks in each course and at least 50% (40% for SC / ST and 45% for PD) marks in the aggregate of all marks obtained in the aggregate of all marks obtained in 1st, 2nd and 3rd semester examination are also eligible.

Application Fee :
Candidates required to pay Application Fee through SBI I Collect system (using Debit Card / Credit Card / net Banking). Last date payment Application fees is 05/07/2016.

Fresher candidates will be selected in order of merit calculated on the basic of the following score (on the basic aggregate marks obtained)-
For Secondary or Equivalent Examination - % of Marks x 01
For Higher Secondary or Equivalent - % of Marks x 0.2
For Honours  Graduates - % of Marks x 0.4
For Post Graduate - % of marks x 0.3

Selection of teachers under Deputed category will be made on the basic of number of years of Uniterrupted approved service in Government or Government aided Schools (Calculated as on 02/07/2016).
