Reservation :

In each college 22% & 6% of total seats shall be kept reserved for SC & ST Candidates both Freshers and Deputed candidates respectively and PWD candidates will kept 3% reservation in each of categories. As per government order ratio for the Home University students and other University students shall be 80 : 20.

Bengali / English / History / Economics / Political Science / Commerce / Physical Science / Life Science / Mathematics / Education / Sanskrit / Geography.

B.Ed Admission Procedure :

Admission will be on the basic of scores against marks obtained in qualifying examinations and as per norms of University. Scores against marks for different level of examinations will be as follows-

Madhyamik or Equivalent Examination - 10 marks

Higher Secondary Examination - 10 marks.

B.A / B.Sc / B.Com (General/Pass) - 10 marks.

B.A / B.Sc / B.Com (Hons.) - 20 marks.

M.A / M.Sc / M.Com - 20 marks.

M.Phil - 05 marks.

Ph.D - 8 marks.

D.Sc / D.Litt. - 12 marks.

B.Ed Counselling :

Venue, Date & Time, Serial No. for Counselling shall be announced at the time of publication of Provisional Rank Lists and the same will be available only on the University website. During counselling candidates are advised to bring with them the Receipt of the Application Form and all the Credentials in Original. If any candidates fails to appear at the Counselling he / she will not be considered for Admission to the Kalyani University B.Ed Courses. Details given in official advertisement below.
