MPSC Statistical Officer Vacancy Details:

Organization Name: Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC)

Name of the Post: Statistical Officer/ Research Officer

1. Statistical Officer: 50 Posts
2. Research Officer: 1 Post

Eligibility Criteria:

Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 18 years to 33 years as on 01-12-2014. Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.

Educational Qualifications: For Statistical Officer post, candidates must possess the qualification of Post Graduate (PG) with at least 45% marks in Maths/ Economics/ Commerce/ Biometrics. Post Graduate Degree of a statutory University or a Post graduate diploma of two years from any Government recognized institution in Sociology, Correctional Administration, Criminology or Psychology are compulsory for Research Officer posts.

Application Fee:

I. For Statistical Officer Posts:

• General and unreserved category candidates need to pay Rs. 260/- as application fee.
• SC/ST and other reserved category candidates are required to pay Rs. 135/- as application fee.
•  Ex-Serviceman candidates will have to pay only Rs. 10/- as application fee.

II. For Research Officer Post:

• General and unreserved category candidates need to pay Rs. 410/- as application fee.
• SC/ST and other reserved category candidates are required to pay Rs. 210/- as application fee.
•  Ex-Serviceman candidates will have to pay only Rs. 10/- as application fee.

Fee should be paid through SBI Challan/ Net Banking/ Debit card/ Credit card/ CSC etc.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on their performance in written examination and Interview.

• Now select exam Center and fill all marked details over there in application form.
• Grad the Examination ID and make payment as mentioned above.
• Revisit the website and enter the User Name and password previously provided.
• Upload the scanned photograph and signature and complete your applications.
• Don’t forget to take print out of application form for further use.
