AAI Sports Scholarship Scheme 2016 - 17, Airport Authority of India has published notification for Sports Scholarship Scheme for Outstanding Sportsperson for the Financial Year 2016-17, Download Application From for Scholarship Programme in official website of AAI- www.aai.aero (or Download Applications from here) , The objective of Scheme of AAI Scholarship to promising young players with a view to enhancing sporting standard in AAI as also encouraging young talent, The scholarship will be given to the players over 14 years of age as on 01/04/2016, Boys & Girls both applicant are eligible for applying, Applicant must have representative in Sub Junior / Junior / Youth / Senior National Championship, All India Inter University Tournaments, National School Games in the last 2 years, Total 100 numbers of Scholarship Holders are eligible for the year 2016-17, Apply Offline mode for this scholarship, Last date of Received application form (Scholarship Form) is 29/02/2016 (all candidates except Remote area candidates- 07/03/2016), Details description is given below.....

Scholarship Duration between - 31st march, 2017

Scholarship Amount - Rs.12000/ per Months (14 years to 18 years Group) / Rs.16000 / per months (over 18 years Group)

100 Candidates are selected for this year.

• 85 Candidates selected for General Category
• 15 candidates selected for Wards of Employees of Airports Authority of India.

Age limit :

Applicant minimum age should be 14 years as on 01/04/2016.

Qualification Criteria :

• For General Category Applicants must be representative in Sub Junior / Junior / Youth / Senior - National Championships, All India Inter University Tournaments, National School Games in the last 2 years.  Game & Category is given below-

1. Athletics, Badminton, Chess, Kho-Kho, Table Tennis, Wrestling - For Boys & Girls
2. Cricket, Football, Kabbadi - For Boys 
3. Hockey - For Girls

• For Wards of AAI Employees applicant must be representative in Sub Junior/Junior/Youth/ Senior National Championships, All India Inter University Tournaments, National School Games in the last 2 years, Game & Category is given below.-

1. All Recognized games - For Boys & Girls

Scholarship Amount :

• Rs.12000/ per Months for 14 years to 18 years Group.
• Rs.16000/ per Months for Over 18 years group.

Selection :

All applicants selected for Scholarship amount as per selected buy Committee duly constituted by the President, Airports Authority of India Sports Control Board, Final Selection will be on Sports merit based.
