Essential Qualification :
- Language Known - Proficiency, Spoken & Written in the English Language.
- Age Limit - Between 18 years to 40 years as on 2016 (Is relaxation is applicable for SC/ST candidates up to 5 years, OBC candidates up to 3 years).
- Educational Qualification :
- For Junior Library Assistant Gr-II - Bachelor Degree followed by Diploma / Degree in Library Science from a recognized University, Knowledge of Computer Application, Knowledge of Universal Decimal classifications.
- Technical Assistant - B.Sc / BCA / Post Graduate diploma in Engineering recognized by State Council of technical Education with experience in handling Computer / Software.
- Junior Assistant - Higher Secondary or its equivalent examinations recognized by the Council of Higher Secondary Education, West Bengal.
- Junior Peon - Class VIII / 8th Passed from recognized Institute.
Scale of Pay :
- Rs.9000/ - Rs.28300 / with Grade Pay of Rs.4400 - for Technical Assistant & Junior Library Assistant Posts.
- Rs.7200 - Rs.25400/ with Grade Pay of Rs.3300 - Junior Assistant Posts.
- Rs.5400 - Rs.18600/ with Grade Pay of Rs.1800 - Junior Peon Posts.
Conditions of Recruit :
- Presidency University recruit for 1 years probation.
- The selection of notified posts need to necessarily be confined only those who formally applied.
