Details of WBJEEB Examination Process / Scheme & Syllabus for Examination

Examination Type :
  1. Group E (Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry) - for Admission in Engineering / Technology / Architectural / Pharmacy Courses.
  2. Group M (Biological Sciences, Physics & Chemistry) - For Admission in Medical / Dental Courses.
  3. Group C (mathematics, Biological Science, Physics & Chemistry) - for Admission in Engineering / Technology / Architectural or Medical / Dental courses or in Pharmacy Courses. 
Examination Scheduled :
WBJEEM Examination 2016 will be dated on- 17th May, 2016 (Tuesday).
  • Biological Sciences- 9 am to 11.30 am - Full Marks 150 (2 hours 30 Minutes Duration)
  • Physics & Chemistry - 12.45 pm to 2.45 pm - Full Marks 100 (2 hours duration).
  • Mathematics - 3.30 pm to 5.30 pm - Full Marks 100 (2 hours duration).
Examination Question Pattern :
WBJEE Examination will be Objective MCQ type. Question are to be answered on specially deigned machine readable Answer Sheet (OMR Answer Sheet). Answer are to be marked using Blue / Black Ball Point Pen on the Omr Sheet. Question pattern list is given below-
  1. Biological Science - 150 Marks (115 Questions) - 80x1 marks, 25x2 marks & 10x2 marks.
  2. Physics - 50 marks (40 question) - 30x1 marks, 5x2 marks, 5x2 marks.
  3. Chemistry - 50 marks (40 question) - 30x1 marks, 5x2 marks, 5x2 marks.
  4. Mathematics - 100 marks (75 Question)- 50x1 marks, 15x2 marks, 10x2 marks.
