Reservation :
Aspirants must be a permanent / Local Residence of Jharkhand and have procedure proper local Residential Certificates & caste certificate issued by proper authority. Assigned by Govt. of Jharkhand to get their Reservation as per Reservation Policy of Govt. of Jharkhand. up to date reservation policy of govt of Jharkhand will be followed in all courses of Govt. and Privet Institutes situated in Jharkhand State.

Selection Process :
Selection will be made through a Competitive Entrance Examination. A Final List will be prepared after publication of result. For selection procedure & conditions please check the Advertisement published by JCECEB.

Scheme & Syllabus for JCECE 2016 :
Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination 2016 should be Objective Type (four options with single correct answer). Total No. Question is 150 (for PCM & PCB) / 200 (For PCMB) Group. Question paper consist of both English and in Hindi language. For each question carries 1 mark. Details of JCECE Syllabus is given below-
  • PCM Group - Physics (50), Chemistry (50), Mathematics (50)
  • PCB Group - Physics (50), Chemistry (50), Biology (50).
  • PCMB Group - Physics (50), Chemistry (50), Biology (50), Mathematics (50).

Examination Date & Timing / Exam Center :
The question paper for examination is given official website. Examination Centers is- Ranchi, Jamshedpur, Dumka, Dhanbad, Hazaribagh and Bokaro. The candidates should selected two convenient town for the entrance test. Examination time are fololws (Group wise) - 
  • PCM Group - 10.15 AM to 1.30 Pm
  • PCB Group - 9 Am to 12.15 Pm.
  • PCMB Group - 9 Am to 1.30 Pm.
Admit Card :
The JCECE Board will provide the facility of downloading Online Admit Card of J.C.E.C.E -2016 on board website. Admit cards will not be sent by the post. The Admit card will bear the candidates Roll number, Name, Fathers name, Category, SMQ, Photograph , Date of Birth, Subject Group with name and Address of JCECE- 2016 examination center allotted.

Applicant required to download their Hall Ticket cum Admit Card from official website of Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB)- jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in process for Downloading Admit Card is been given below.

  2. Click on Admit Card Tab.
  3. Select Examination.
  4. JCECE 2016.
  5. Enter Application OMR Sheet no & Date of Birth.
  6. Verify & Submit.
  7. Print out Copy of Admit card.
  8. Carry Original ID Proof in Exam Hall.
