Details of Examination :
WB Judicial Service Examination in two part- Preliminary Examination & Mains Examination. Preliminary Examination will be held in Kolkata and Darjeling in June, 2016. Details of Scheme and Syllabus for Preliminary Exam is given below.
Scheme and Syllabus for WB Judicial Service Exam 2016 :
The Preliminary Examination will consist of one paper of Objective Type containing 200 Multiple Choice Question. The paper will carry 200 marks and will be of 2 hours and 30 Minutes duration. The standard of the paper will be of the level of knowledge as expected of graduate in law of a recognized University. The paper will include questions covering the following fields of Knowledge-
- English Composition - 30 marks.
- General Knowledge, Current Affairs an Test of Reasoning - 40 marks.
- Indian Constitution - 20 marks.
- Law of Contracts and Torts - 20 marks.
- Laws of evidence - 20 marks.
- Civil Procedure Codes - 20 marks.
- Criminal Procedure Code and Indian Penal Code - 20 marks.
- Personal Law - 10 marks.
- Law of Limitation - 20 marks.

All applicant required to collect their Admit card / Hall Ticket for Audit and Accounts Service Examination 2016 from online WBPSC Portal- www.pscwbonline.gov.in. Process for downloading Admit Card is given below.

- Click on Download Admit Card / Call Letter Tab.
- Download Admit Card for WB Judicial Service Preliminary Examination 2016.
- Enter candidates First name & Date of Birth.
- Verify & Submit.
- Admit Card shown on Display.
- Print out Admit Card / Call Letter in A4 size paper.
Important Information :
- Preliminary Exam dated on - June 2016.
- Carry Original ID proof with Admit Card in examination hall. No electronics gadget are permit in exam hall.
