Understanding Buzz around NSEL Scam

Mr. Jignesh Shah has made lot of Headlines in recent past. Thousands of wealthy investors, companies and PSUs like MMTC etc invested in a complex, high-return financial product that many brokers were pushing in the last few years. Now, their money is stuck. Here is an interesting article on NSEL Scam from ET. What was the deal like? An investor would lend money for 25-36 days against commodities like castorseed, wool and sugar stocked in warehouses. No investor would directly lend money to a commodity trader in Ludhiana or Kanpu...

IBPS PO III Exam Analysis - 26th & 27th October 2013 (Both Shifts)

Dont Worry Be Happy !! Exam is over and its time to get relaxed.  The pattern of questions in the exam was more or less same as last week’s exams but the bar got raised in terms of overall difficulty level and the length of paper. Questions were lengthy and time consuming. Students need not worry and dont get dis-heartened, as paper was difficult for all and as far as comparison among different shifts are concerned it will get moderated  as the cut-offs will be decided on the basis of equi-percentile method. Do not worry, you hard work will not go waste. Certainly, for a difficult paper, cut-offs are accordingly lesser and similarly cut-off is high for a difficult paper. So, be positive. You have done your bit and its time to wait for the result. It is apparent that IBPS is focusing more on time management skills of the candidates.  The difficulty level of the paper on the whole ranged from moderate to hard.  Reasoning, General Awareness and English sections were mod...
