APSC Recruitment 2013 – 259 Junior Engineer, Assistant Engineer Vacancies: Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has issued a recruitment notification for the recruitment of Asst Engineer and Junior Engineer Posts. - Principal: 01 Post
- Assistant Engineer (Civil): 133 Posts
- Junior Engineer (Civil): 125 Posts
Eligibility Criteria:
Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 21 years to 38 years for Engineer posts and 45 to 55 years for Principal posts. Age limitations will be considered at 01-01-2013. Age relaxation is applicable as per the Govt. rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess the qualification of B.E/ B.Tech and M.E/ M.Tech in Engg./ Technology with 1st class degree and with relevant experience for Principal post, B.E Degree for Assistant Engineer posts and Diploma in Civil Engineering for Junior Engineer posts.
Application Fee: General/ OBC candidates are required to pay Rs. 5/- while SC/ ST category candidates ill have to pay Rs. 2.50/- as application fee for Treasury Challan showing name of post and Department and also full Head of Account ‘Non Tax Revenue-Other Non Tax Revenue-0051-PSC, 102-State Public Service Commission Application/Examination Fee Receipt of A.P.S.C.
Selection Procedure:Candidates would be selected based on their performance in Written examination and Interview.
Application Form: Candidates firs need to grab the application form from the Issue & Receipt Section of the Assam Public Service Commission, Jawahar Nagar, Khanapara, Guwahati-22 on written requisition addressed to the Deputy Secretary, Assam Public Service Commission stating clearly the name of the post and Department.

How to Apply: All those candidates who wish to apply for Assistant Engineer posts in Assam Public Service Commission, they need to send their duly filled in applications along with recent passport size photograph and self attested photocopies of certificate/ mark sheet from HSLC onwards and also caste certificate/ registration certificate/ experience certificate to the Commission’s Office before 18th January 2014.
