West Bengal Staff Selection Commission (WBSSC) Government of West Bengal has issued recruitment advertisement for the post of Assistant Sub-Inspector of Excise under the Department of Excise, Govt. of West Bengal. WBSSC invites applications from eligible Indian citizens (Only for Male Candidates) for the post of Assistant Sub-Inspector of Excise for filling up 246 Vacancies - Apply Online or Offline on or before 22nd January 2014.

Educational Qualification: Passed Higher Secondary Examination from the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent.

Tentative Schedule:

• Date of Examination -> 6th April, 2014 (Sunday)
• Time of publishing result of Written Test -> May, 2014
• Period of Physical Measurement Test and Interview -> June, 2014
• Time of publishing Final Result -> July, 2014

Exam Fee: Rs.220/- for all categories except SC/ST. Only Processing fee Rs.20/- for SC/ST Category candidates.

Selection Process: Recruitment will be made on the basis of Written Test followed by Physical Measurement and Interview.
