Research Associates selected under the prestigious KSKRA programme are given an opportunity to work on R&D programmes of national importance relevant to the DAE mandate and offers prospects of regular absorption in one of the following advanced research centres of the Department:

Educational Qualifications:

(i) For Engineers: Ph.D. degree in Engineering (Those who have submitted thesis for Ph.D. and are likely to finish their viva by July 31, 2014 may also apply) or Master's degree in Engineering (M.Tech./ M.E./M.S.) with a minimum of 2-year R&D experience after
obtaining M.Tech./M.E./M.S. degree.

(ii) For Scientists: Ph.D. degree in Science (Those who have submitted Ph.D. thesis and are likely to finish their viva by July 31, 2014 may also apply).

Age Relaxation: The age criterion is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates. The SC/ ST/ OBC certificate should be as per the prescribed format. Physically challenged persons are eligible for age relaxation of 5 years.

Application Fee: Rs.500/- as application processing fee. No fee for SC/ST Candidates.

Amount of Fellowship:

RA-1 -> Who have submitted Ph.D. thesis and yet to receive their Ph.D. degree (provisional or otherwise) i 21,000/- p.m. plus 30% HRA plus Contingency Grant of i 20,000/- per annum.
RA-2 ->  Ph.D. degree (provisional or otherwise) i 22,000/- p.m. plus 30% HRA plus Contingency Grant of i 20,000/- per annum.
RA-3 -> Ph.D. degree and with one year experience i 23,000/- p.m. plus 30% HRA plus Contingency Grant of i 20,000/- per annum.
RA-4 ->  Ph.D. degree and with two years experience i 24,000/- p.m. Plus 30% HRA plus Contingency Grant of i 20,000/- per annum.
