Eligibility Criteria:

Age Limit: Candidates age must be at least 21 years for VAO posts. The upper age limit is 30 years for General candidates, 40 years for SC/ ST/ SC (A), MBC/ DC, BC, BCM & DW category candidates. Age relaxation is applicable and it will be calculated as on 01-07-2014.

Educational Qualifications: Candidates must possess the qualification of S.S.L.C Public Examination or its equivalent examination and must have knowledge of Tamil.

Application Fee: Candidates will have to pay Rs. 125/- (Examination Fee Rs.75/- + Cost of Application Rs. 50/-) for Preliminary examination and Rs. 125/- once again for Main Written Examination.

Application should be paid through Online or Offline mode by Net Banking, using Credit Card or Debit Card. In case of offline mode candidates need to pay through Challan form in any Indian Bank branch or Post Office.

Selection Process: Selections of candidates will be made on the basis of their performance in written examination and District option exercised by the candidates.

Online Application Form: All those candidates who wish to apply for Village Administrative Officer (VAO) posts in Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission, they are required to apply through online mode on TNPSC’s official website at www.tnpsc.gov.in or www.tnpscexams.net on or before 15th April 2014.

After filling online applications, candidates need to take print out of application and keep it for further use.

How to Apply Online:

Log on to SBI’s official website at www.tnpsc.gov.in or www.tnpscexams.net.

Navigate to Recruitment Section.

Click on “Apply Online” link under the Lecturer post you want to apply for.

Login with your Unique ID and password in case you have.

Fill application form with all mandatory details, payment details and upload the scanned copy of photograph and signature.

Now make payment as mentioned above.

If everything is right, submit your application form.

Take print out of application for future references.
