FACT Recruitment 2014 for Graduate Apprentices, Technician Apprentices
The Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore Limited (FACT - A Government of India Enterprise) Udyogamandal, Kochi (Kerala State) requires Graduate Apprentices and Technician (Vocational) Apprentices. Eligible candidates are not required to send any application, Buy appear directly for a written test to be conducted on scheduled Date (16th May 2014 to 23rd May 2014).
Stipend: Rs.3560/- per month for Graduate Apprentices and Rs.1970/- per month for Trade [Vocational] Apprentices.
Educational Qualifications:
Graduate Apprentices -> Engineering Graduate (B.E. / B.Tech) in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Instrumentation, Chemical and Computer Engineering Discipline. A Pass in Engineering Degree in the relevant discipline should not have completed more than 3 years after passing Degree as on 01.06.2014.
Technician Apprentices –> Trade (ITI) Certificate in Accountancy & Auditing, Civil construction & Maintenance and Office Secretary Ship (Issued by Vocational Higher Secondary Examination Board). A pass in the relevant trades should not have completed more than 3 years after passing Trade as on 01.06.2014.
Selection Process: Eligible Candidates are required to Walk in for Written Test at the following scheduled date.The written test (with respect to the Branch studied and multiple choice type) will be conducted at FACT Training Centre, Udyogamandal near Kalamassery - Kochi and it will be of one hour duration. [Qualifying Examination - 50%, Written test - 50%]

Eligible Candidates must bring with the originals and one set of attested copies of the following documents / certificates.
(a) Proof of date of birth (SSLC)
(b) 2 copies of Passport size photos
(c) Trade / Degree Certificate and Mark list.
(d) Caste Certificate in the case of SC/ST/OBC (Creamy Layer Certificate) (Issued latest by 6 months and by an officer not less than the rank of a Thahsildar).
(e) Disability Certificate (for PH candidates) from competent Medical Board.

Essential -> Graduate in Agriculture/ Post Graduate in any discipline including Business Management/ Post Graduate specialization in Marketing Management.
Preferred additional -> Post Graduate Degree in Agriculture/ Degree in Law.
Experience -> 9 years experience in Management Grade, in activities involving Trading/Marketing, of Products /Services,in a Large or Medium scale industry, preferably in Fertilizer/Chemical/Agro fields.
Age Relaxation: Should be born on or after 01.01.1974. Relaxable as per rules. Relaxation shall be given upto 5 years for SC and 3 years for OBC candidates, and additional 10 years for PWD candidates, based on documents evidencing the same.
Application Fee: Rs.300/- in the form of non-refundable Demand Draft drawn in favour of The Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore Ltd, payable at Udyogamandal (State Bank of Travancore, Dena Bank, Bank of India) should be attached along with the application.
How To Apply: Applications on the prescribed format, the candidate's passport size photograph shall be firmly affixed in the space provided on the application form. The duly filled, downloaded application, with required attachments shall be submitted to the "Chief Manager (HR), Human Resources Department, FEDO Building,FACT Ltd., Udyogamandal, Kerala (PIN 683501)" on or before 19/03/2014.
