Educational Qualification:

Applicants should have possessed MBBS / Master Degree / Medical degree in relevant discipline form any recognized University / Institute.

Age Limit:

Candidate’s age should be 30 years for S.No.I & II Posts, 33 years for remaining posts as on 01-01-2014. Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.

Pay Scales:

a) For Senior Residents, Casualty Medical Officers, Resident Pathologist & Resident Anesthetists:-
Rs.15600-39100(With initial start of Rs.18750/-) carrying Grade Pay Rs.6600/- + allowances as admissible as per orders of the Government issued from time to time.

b) For Demonstrators:-
Pay scale: Rs.10300-34800(With initial start of Rs.13450/-) carrying grade pay Rs.5000/- + NPA (for Medical Graduates only, if admissible).

(c) For Medical Officer (Mo) / Lady Medical Officer (Lmo) & Emergency Medical  Officer:
Pay scale: Rs.15600-39100 carrying grade pay Rs.5400/- + NPA if admissible.

Selection Process:

Selection will be based on the written test/interview.

Application Fee:

Candidates need to pay Rs.500/- for General candidates and Rs.250/- for SC candidate Demand Draft drawn in favor of Director Principal, GMCH, payable at Chandigarh.
