The State Bank of India conducts the Probationary Officers (PO) Examination once in a year. This year too, SBI PO had come up with SBI PO Notification which will be held in June 2014. Phase 1 is compulsory for each and every candidates who have applied for SBI Probationary Officers (PO) Exam. Check out the detailed syllabus below.

1. Data Analysis & Interpretation

Candidates are required to focus on these topics mentioned here. Data Interpretation: An Introduction, Tabulation, Line Graph, Bar Diagram, Pie or Circular Diagram, Caselet and Mixed Graph.

2. Reasoning

There will complex reasoning in the question paper that includes questions on Coding-Decoding, Test of Inequality, Blood Relations, Order Sequence Test, Syllogism, Direction and Distance, Puzzle Test, Input-Output, Data Sufficiency and Question Based on Various Statements.

3. English Language

These topics will be included in SBI PO online examination. Common Errors, Synonyms and Antonyms, Selecting the Most Suitable Word, Double Blanks in a Sentence, Choosing the Appropriate Filler, Phrase Substitution, Ordering of Jumbled up Sentences, Cloze Test or Passages and Comprehension Passage.

Phase 2 is subjective type written examination test. The candidates are required to qualify in the Objective Tests by securing passing marks, in each of the tests in order to appear at SBI PO Descriptive test. As per the SBI PO Cut off Marks 2014 candidates will be called for Phase II and Phase III examination.
