National Institute of Fashion Technology offers a bunch of courses related to fashion technology every year for the students of under graduate and Post Graduate Levels. Candidates who don’t want to miss this opportunity have to just opt for an entrance examination. The online registrations for the written examination will commence in the first week of October, 2014 on the official website of the organization www.nift.ac.in. All the other details related to application form and educational qualification is described below.

Age Limit: Candidates must possess the maximum age limit of 23 years to apply for B. Design and B. FTech course and there are no age restrictions for all the other courses.
Exam Pattern: Different papers are conducted for different candidates,
  1. Paper Based Test-1 conducted for the students who have applied for the undergraduate and Post Graduate courses.
  2. Paper Based Test-2 conducted for the students who have applied for Bachelor of Design and Master of Design Courses.
  3. A computer based test for the students applying for B. Ftech, MFM and M. Ftech.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of their marks scored in the test followed by a group discussion and a formal interview.
Application Fee:
  • Rs.1200 for General/OBC
  • Rs.600 for SC/ST/PHP
