Essential Qualification :
  • Language Known - Proficiency, Spoken & Written in the English Language.
  • Age Limit - Between 18 years to 40 years as on 2016 (Is relaxation is applicable for SC/ST candidates up to 5 years, OBC candidates up to 3 years).
  • Educational Qualification :
  1. For Junior Library Assistant Gr-II - Bachelor Degree followed by Diploma / Degree in Library Science from a recognized University, Knowledge of Computer Application, Knowledge of Universal Decimal classifications.
  2. Technical Assistant - B.Sc / BCA / Post Graduate diploma in Engineering recognized by State Council of technical Education with experience in handling Computer / Software.
  3. Junior Assistant - Higher Secondary or its equivalent examinations recognized by the Council of Higher Secondary Education, West Bengal.
  4. Junior Peon - Class VIII / 8th Passed from recognized Institute.
Scale of Pay :
  • Rs.9000/ - Rs.28300 / with Grade Pay of Rs.4400 - for Technical Assistant & Junior Library Assistant Posts.
  • Rs.7200 - Rs.25400/ with Grade Pay of Rs.3300 - Junior Assistant Posts.
  • Rs.5400 - Rs.18600/ with Grade Pay of Rs.1800 - Junior Peon Posts.
Conditions of Recruit :
  1. Presidency University recruit for 1 years probation.
  2. The selection of notified posts need to necessarily be confined only those who formally applied.
  3. Photocopies & Original of all document must be submit at the time of the Interview (if Shortlisted).
  4. Incomplete application will be summarily rejected.
